Slipknot - Vol. 3: The Sublimial Verses:
What better Nu Metal band and their album to review than Slipknot's? Forming in 1995 in Des Moines, Iowa. This nine peice band just tears is up on stage and in studio. Earning their second stage spots for Ozzfest 2000 and 2004. Fortunately, I got to go to 2004's Ozzfest and get and autograph by three of the nine members on the album cover of their latest album Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses. Unfortunately, I wasn't abel to see their full set becuase of the wild crowd. But, anyway. I'm here to tell you about their album, rather than my mishaps of not being abel to see them. tongue.gif

So, the album is Vol. 3: The Sublimial Verses. Their latest album released on Roadrunner Records... and, I must say, it's quite awesome. wink.gif It's goes from heavy. To acoustic. Back to heavy once more.

Now, since there's only been two singles released on the airwaves and what not. I'm just going to choose the other two singles myself. grin.gif

We start off with "Duality." The first single on this album to be released on airwaves. This is a good song. I love it. Really catchy. Puts you in the headbanging/moshing mood needed for a song like this. That's what every heavy song needs. For that, the song gets a solid 10/10. Great stuff.

Next, we go into "Vermillion Pt. 1." The second single released on airwaves so far. Now, first off, it's like the other songs you've probably heard from the `Knot. But, to me. It seems sorta different in a way. Becuase it's heavy at first, but, get's even more heavier in other parts. All in all. It's actaully quite good. I give it a 9/10.

Welp, I've gotten to the point where i have to chose which two to last singles I will pick... and, the next one is: "Pulse of the Maggots." ... and yes, it's another great single. But, I don't know if it's was the first signle to be heard of. Meh, oh well. I guess it's too late to find out. tongue.gif Anyway, the signle is great as I had said before. You have to listen to it to see what I mean. wink.gif I giv eit a good 10/10.

Now, the last one... and I chose: "The Blister Exists." It's kick-ass! There's a percussion solo in between the song. Which is awesome too. It's just right to immitate to. wink.gif Great guitar riffs and all. I gave it a 10/10

Overall, I think it's really good. In total. It's getting a 9/10 (Or Grade: A)
